Extraction After Care
Proper care and management is required after extraction to reduce any chances of complications. These are listed below:

- Do not rinse or spit for 24 hours.
- Do not use straw to drink beverages for 2 days.
- If face swelling is present, cold compression using ice packs can be done.

- Eat soft and cold food for 1 day after extraction, you may eat slightly warm soft food for next 2-3 days.
- Do not smoke for a few days post extraction. (especially next 3-4 days)
- Avoid alcohol.

- Start salt water rinses after 24 hours of extraction and continue till 1 week.
